A wavelength split type service and a passive type subscriber network capable of performing a service having no concern in wavelength are provided to supply a passive type subscriber network and wavelength split passive type subscriber network by using a passive remote distributor. Optical fibers of a line terminal for central office(10) for a telephone central office are branched to bifurcation in a remote splitter. A wavelength splitter(21) is installed on one among the branched optical fibers. A power splitter(22) is installed on the other among the branched optical fibers. An optical band coupler is installed after the wavelength splitter and power splitter so that the light passing through the wavelength splitter and the light passing through the power splitter be merged. The downward signal is transmitted by the optical network unit through the broadband coupler. The passive type subscriber network and the wavelength split type passive type subscriber network are selectively serviced.
