PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerated weathering test apparatus for carrying out an in-site real-time color measurement. SOLUTION: A first input optic 10 disposed between a light source 5 and a test specimen 3 in a chamber is connected by an optical fiber 9 to an optical analysis control system 310 and a color measuring sensor 31 for continuously determining a color of the test specimen 3. The color obtained is compared with a stored value, and a progressive change with time in the color can be determined. In another configuration, the first input optic 10 is disposed so as to be out of a line connecting the test specimen 3 and the light source 5, in order to limit the interference of the shade of the input optic. In another configuration, several input optics are arranged side by side to measure colors of various test specimens 3 which are disposed at various angular positions on a rotating rack 1 in the chamber. In still another configuration, a second input optic 11 is used to measure light of the light source 5 in a full-spectrum fashion, in order to calculate the color under a CIE standard.
