<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make use of high speed transfer of IEEE802.11g available only when a specific application is used while ensuring the connectability of an IEEE802.11b terminal in an environment where the IEEE802.11b/g coexist. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When an arbitrary wireless terminal in a group of a plurality of wireless terminals performs communications by an arbitrary communication system, communication by a wireless terminal group having a communication system other than the arbitrary communication system is stopped while communications are performed by the arbitrary communication system (step 806). After ending communication by the arbitrary communication system, communication by a wireless terminal group having a communication system other than the arbitrary communication system is resumed (step 810).
