PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost artificial snowfall device compact as compacted with a conventional one and having a high snowmaking capacity.SOLUTION: An artificial snowfall device 10 installed indoors comprises: a vertical drum 11 whose inner peripheral surface is cooled by a refrigerant; a rotation shaft 12 arranged on the central axis of the vertical drum 11 and rotating; spray nozzles 13 rotating together with the rotation shaft 12 and spraying mist-like water toward the inner peripheral surface of the vertical drum 11; an arm 14 having a central part through which the rotation shaft 12 passes and rotating together with the rotation shaft 12; blades 15 mounted to tip portions of the arm 14 and scraping off an ice film formed on the inner peripheral surface of the vertical drum 11; and a discharge opening 16 provided in the lower surface of the vertical drum 11 and discharging snow scraped off by the blades 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
