PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-riding type vehicle capable of decreasing a height of oil liquid level of an engine and easily acknowledging an amount of oil while an air suction by an oil pump is being prevented.SOLUTION: An oil collecting part 232 of an oil pan 230 is positioned below a crank case 221. An oil storage part 231 is positioned below the oil collecting part 232. A part of an exhaust pipe 31 overlaps the oil storage part 231 as seen from a side view of a vehicle. An oil suction port 202a of an oil pump 202 is arranged at the oil storage part 231. An average value of a horizontal section of the oil storage part 231 is smaller than an average horizontal section of the oil collecting part 232. A float of a liquid surface detecting device extends from the inside of the oil pan 230 into the crank case 221 in a movable manner in a vertical direction. At a higher position than the upper end of a part of the discharging pipe 31, the crank case 221 is provided with a translucent window part 223 enabling a part of the float to be seen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
