<p>Oral pharmaceutical compositions comprising an arsenous acid, its sodium salt and its derivatives are provided to improve biocompatibility, anticancer activity, safety of oral administration and dosage compliance of patients, so that the oral pharmaceutical compositions are useful for the treatment of urogenital cancer and its metastasis. An oral pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of urogenital cancer and its metastasis comprises 0.0001-1500 mg/kg/day, preferably 1-1000 mg/kg/day, more preferably 1-150 mg/kg/day, most preferably 50-100 mg/kg/day of arsenous acid metal salt or arsenous acid earth metal salt such as meta-arsenous acid sodium(AsO2Na) or meta-arsenous acid potassium(AsO2K), and is formulated as tablet, capsule, powder or solution containing pharmaceutically acceptable carriers, diluents or excipients, wherein the urogenital cancer is prostatic cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer or testicular cancer.</p> |
