Provided is an optical port state determination method. The method comprises: acquiring an average optical power performance value of an optical port in a designated time period; acquiring a current optical power performance value of the optical port; and determining, according to the average optical power performance value and the current optical power performance value, whether an optical port state is normal. The above technical solution utilizes a fluctuation characteristic of the optical power performance value of the optical port and determines whether a current performance value deteriorates by using the average optical power performance value of the optical port over a past time period so as to determine the optical port state. Compared with the related prior art, the invention can quickly calculate and display optical power deterioration states of all network elements in a management network without having to manually maintain performance thresholds of different optical ports, thereby quickly and accurately locating an optical port experiencing optical power deterioration in a current network, and increasing an efficiency of an optical port state determination method. |
