PURPOSE:To provide a gas compressor which has no leak due to compression and can prevent oil mist from coming in compressed gas. CONSTITUTION:The inside of a rigid body 1 is hermetically partitioned into an operating chamber 3 and a compression chamber 4 by a diaphragm 2 provided for the wide cross section side of the rigid body 1. The inside of the operating chamber 3 is filled with operating fluid 7, and an inflow valve 5 and a outflow valve 6 for gas to flow in and out, are provided for the wall section of the compression chamber 4 faced to the diaphragm 2. A fluid pump is made up of an electromagnet 10 and of magnetic fluid 11, magnetic fluid 11 is disposed in a space enclosed by a tapered section 8b connected to the gap 8a of a magnetic pole 8. And when a coil 9 is energized, magnetic fluid 11 is sucked in the gap 8a by the intensive magnetic field of the gap 8a so as to be moved, and working fluid 7 in the gap 8a is pushed out to the operating chamber 3 side, so that the diaphragm 2 is pressed so as to be deformed. As a result, the volume of the compression chamber 4 is reduced, so that compressed gas pushes and opens the outflow valve so as to be led to the outside of the compression chamber 4. |
