摘要 PURPOSE:To reconcile control over a shift shock and improvement in responsiveness both through a yet higher order of dimensions by feeding a transmission with hydraulic pressure so quickly while the subsequent specified period inclusive of a point of time when a variation in the waveform of a torque signal is detected, and performing a job for throttle control for a period when a torque change in the transmission comes into question. CONSTITUTION:Two torque sensors 4, 5 are installed in an input shaft of an automatic transmission, installing a throttle quantity control means 103 for controlling a throttle quantity in a hydraulic circuit of a frictional element 45 in addition. A controller 100 starts its control over the hydraulic throttle quantity before the torque sensors 4, 5 detect at least the start of gearshifting, controlling it so as to make the extent of throttle resistance smaller for the specified period after these sensors 4, 5 has started the gearshifting. With this constitution, responsiveness in shift operation goes up, and since the throttle control is performed at a period of time when a torque change in the transmission is at issue, a shock is thus reduced.
