PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating oil for buffers which is excellent in resistance to load by adding a load-resistant additive and/or a metal inactivator to a specific polyolefin. CONSTITUTION:The objective oil comprises a polyolefin represented by the formula (R, R' and R'' are each a 1-12C hydrocarbon or halogenated hydrocarbon group; (x) is an] integer of 1 to 30; (y) is an integer of 1 to 30; and (p) is an integer of 1 to 20) and having a viscosity of 5 to 5,000cSt at 25 deg.C, and a load-resistant additive and/or a metal inactivator added thereto. An anti- oxidizing agent may further be added to the above-mentioned lubricating oil. As the base oil, the above-mentioned polyolefin may be used either alone or in mixture with an ester and/or an organopolysiloxane. |
