PURPOSE:To prevent vehicle movement against a driver's intention, by continuing automatic parking control when during this automatic parking control a range selection switch is changed over to other range than a parking range and when this change-over is due to a driver's erroneous operation, and making an ordinary change-over control of the automatic transmission shift range only when change-over of the parking range is due to a driver's intention. CONSTITUTION:A range control section 10 for making change-over control of the shift range of an automatic transmission AT, only when, in case other range signals than a P-range are inputted thereinto from a range selection switch 12 during automatic parking control of an automatic parking control section 20, a foot brake is stepped in, changes over the shift range of the automatic transmission AT in accordance with a range signal at that time. When the foot brake is not stepped in, the range control section 10 continues to execute the automatic parking control. |
