The upper and lower foils have flanges (5) which are joined together around the rim of the package by a conventional hot sealing method. At one corner of the flange the lower foil has a lip (15) with a tongue (16). The upper foil has a reinforcing lip (10), with a cutout matching the lower foil lip (15). The upper and lower foils at this point are only joined at small areas (13). The user grasps the lower lip and peels the upper foil off the package, exposing the contents. |
