FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: system includes sub-system checking the accuracy of information stored in database. Inspection is performed by means of automatic inspection of the entered bar code of the goods article for compliance with the information specified in GS1 global international code register of consumer goods. At that, in case the inspection result is positive, new information on the goods article is placed in database about goods articles; otherwise, rendering of such service to the user is rejected. Sub-system interacting with users and sub-system interacting with the information are made so that they can provide the possibility for any users of the system to form information, to add changes and/or updates to previously formed information stored in information storage block. Names of Internet-sites with the information on goods articles include individual identification number of goods article, and bar code of the goods article is used as identification number. Search of information on goods articles can be performed as per various parametres of the information stored in information storage block. ^ EFFECT: enlarging searching and informative capabilities of the system, increasing fidelity of the provided information. ^ 10 cl, 2 dwg |
