PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifriction bearing in which deformation at heat treatment, such as hardening, is reduced. SOLUTION: In the deep groove ball bearing having an outer race 1, an inner race 2 and a plurality of balls 3 rollably provided between the outer race 1 and the inner race 2, the outer race 1 and the inner race 2 are constituted of steel which contains 0.7-1.1% carbon, <=1.0% silicon, <=1.5% manganese, <=8.0% chromium and <=2.0% molybdenum and has >=250 mm DI value. Moreover, the maximum value of the thickness of the outer race 1 and the inner race 2 is made to 3 mm, and the outside diameter of the outer race 1 is made to 30 mm. Further, the outer race 1 and the inner race 2 are subjected to hardening where heating is done in vacuum and cooling is done in inert gas.
