PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a database in a condition of the designated time for the database always updated in online work or batch work in an online system operated for 24 hours continuously. SOLUTION: The backup acquisition time is designated before the designated time, backup data are acquired before the designated time, and data showing the backup acquisition time is stored for each of predetermined positions in the backed database. As to an update request for the predetermined position in the database, a value after update and the update time are stored for each of the predetermined positions. Based on the designated time, the data showing the acquisition time at which the stored backup data are acquired, and the data showing the value after update and the update time for each predetermined position, the backup data acquired before the designated time are corrected.
