PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software system capable of safely stopping a software module, and immediately shifting to the following processing even in a case that the software cannot be normally stopped by any reason. SOLUTION: This software system comprises a stopping means stopping an individual software module (S702), a time-out time acquisition means acquiring a time-out time corresponding to the software module (S704), a stop processing time measuring means measuring the stop processing time of the software module by the stopping means (S707 and S713), and a time-out reporting means reporting the time-out after the lapse of the time-out time (S708 and S714).
