The present invention relates to an automobile battery. A heat-shielding plate having a ventilation structure is installed in both lateral sides or outer four faces of the container in order to prevent the temperature rise of the battery, which is caused due to heat generated from the engine room. In the battery of the invention, the heat- shielding plate installed in the both lateral sides or the outer four faces of the container forms a heat-insulation structure capable of carrying out ventilation. Thus, when installed in a vehicle, the battery can be thermally insulated from external heat such as engine heat to thereby extend the service life of battery. With conventional products having no insulation structure, the case is exposed directly to the external heat (in particular) so that the electrolyte is locally depleted to thereby shorten the service life of products. The present invention solves these problems. |
