A battery cell (101) has such an internal structure as a positive electrode material (110), a negative electrode material (111), and a separator (112) are laid in several layers and then sealed by aluminum laminates (114, 114) together with electrolyte. The battery pack (1) is a cell pack (102) formed by horizontally stacking a plurality of battery cells (101) and an anti-deformation plate (2) is inserted between the stacked battery cells (101). The cell pack (102) where the anti-deformation plate (2) is inserted between the stacked battery cells (101) is retained by cell pack retaining plates (3, 3). Since the cell pack (102) is retained by the cell pack retaining plates (3, 3) and applied with some pressure, it does not expand significantly even when it is overcharged and substantially normal profile is sustained. |
