PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module having zoom function capable of consecutive zooming and an autofocus (AF) function and constituted to be small in size and light in weight, and to provide a personal digital assistant equipped with the camera module. SOLUTION: In the camera module equipped with a plurality of driving sources for moving an optical lens group for autofocus and an optical lens group for zoom in an optical axis direction via respectively independent transmission systems, which comprise a first transmission system for transmitting the driving force, from a first driving source to the optical lens group for autofocus and a second transmission system for transmitting driving force, from a second driving source to the optical lens group for zoom, the material of the first transmission system is different from that of the second transmission system, and the first transmission system is formed of crystalline resin material and the second transmission system is formed of non-crystalline resin material.
