PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely attach a cover member to a device case with simpler structure. SOLUTION: The projector includes: the device case 3 equipped with a lower case 31 and an upper case 32 and having an opening through which the inside of the projector is exposed; a light source lamp provided in the device case to be freely attached/detached via the opening; and the cover member 4 attached to cover the opening. The cover member is formed to extend over a base and a front part, and an upper engaging part 442 engaged with the lower protrusion 322 of the upper case and an inside engaging part 441 engaged with the outside protrusion 313 of the lower case are integrally provided to an edge on the front part side, and a locking part locked at the predetermined position of the lower case is provided at an edge to the base side.
