PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the substantially same characteristic, irrespective of a kind of fluid that is a measuring object. SOLUTION: This disclosed fluid measuring instrument transmits an ultrasonic wave from one ultrasonic transceiver to the fluid flowing in a measuring part 1, and receives the ultrasonic wave transmitted through the fluid by the other ultrasonic transceiver. In the fluid measuring instrument, a flow passage is constituted of a plurality of layers, in the measuring part 1, and a measuring area formed by connecting respective fellow measuring areas opposed with the ultrasonic transceivers is constituted to be crossed substantially with the whole flow passage of the fluid.
