FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: two-section rotor-piston modular engine with planetary opposed rotors incorporates at least a pair of rotor sections with a common output shaft with rotors-pistons fitted thereon and opposite to it and a stator casing. The stator casing features a cylindrical inner surface. The aforesaid two rotor sections are linked together by a reduction gear or a torsion shaft with a cantilever, inner gearing wheel in mesh with the external gearing wheel of appropriate rotor. Every rotor revolving in opposition around appropriate gear wheel features a hypocycloid generating line of the sides, two ledges and a central angle alpha<=45° and an appropriate circular generating line of the stator part inner surface. ^ EFFECT: improved manufacturability of rotor and stator. ^ 2 dwg
