摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video device capable of setting an incident angle on a cover glass to be small by considering influence on an optical system which forms an intermediate image. SOLUTION: The video device includes: a prism; the cover glass; a DMD which reflects light from a light source made incident via the prism via the cover glass; a first optical system on which the light reflected by the mirror in an on-state of the DMD is made incident via the cover glass and the prism and which makes the incident light subject to first image formation to form the intermediate image that is a trapezoidal image; and a second optical system on which the light subject to the first image formation is made incident and which projects to make the incident light subject to second image formation on a screen. The prism has: a first surface through which the light from the light source is transmitted; a second surface which reflects the light from the light source made incident from the first surface toward the DMD; and a third surface through which the light reflected by the second surface is transmitted and which emits it to the DMD via the cover glass. The light reflected by the mirror on the on-state of the DMD is transmitted through the third surface and the second surface via the cover glass and emitted from the second surface toward the first optical system.
