<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor-mounted press machine where working requiring high press tonnage can be performed by a press driving source with relatively small output using a force increasing mechanism, and further, in the case of working requiring low press tonnage, high speed working can be efficiently performed. <P>SOLUTION: The linear motor-mounted press machine is provided with: a force increasing mechanism 10 where an output part performs a rectilinear reciprocating operation; a first linear motor 11 connected to the input part of the force increasing mechanism 10; a second linear motor 12 where an output shaft drives a press die 6 forwardly/backwardly; and a connection changing mechanism 13. The connection changing mechanism 13 connects the output shaft of the second linear motor 12 and the output part of the force increasing mechanism 10 so as to be connected/released to/from each other. As the force increasing mechanism 10, a toggle type link mechanism or the like are used.
