<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual brake device capable of applying sufficient force to a brake lever. <P>SOLUTION: A handle 15 having a substantially T-shaped grip 17 is mounted in a tip part of the brake lever 30, and a lock mechanism 40 is composed of a locking plate 41 mounted on the brake lever 30 and a locking part 26 provided in a base member 20 and engaging and disengaging with/from an engaging part 43 of the locking plate 41. A link member 62 through which a release mechanism 60 disengages the locking plate 41 from the locking part 26 for release operation is extended up to the tip part of the brake lever 30 in the brake lever 30, and a release button 45 provided at a tip of the link member 62 protrudes from a central part of the grip 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
