Energy generation in a gas turbine with feed for gases containing carbon dioxide

The method involves supplying compressed carbon dioxide or compressed carbon dioxide containing mixture from a combustion chamber (5) into a gas turbine (7) for increasing the capacity and for cooling turbine blades to maintain maximal allowable material temperature. The carbon dioxide and/or a carbon dioxide containing mixture is obtained by separation from a mixture containing carbon dioxide, methane and hydrogen by releasing or by pressure distillation at temperatures from 0 to 30 degree Celsius and pressures from 35 to 70 bar.
