Fixing device comprises an outer holder (2) for inserting into the ground (200) and an inner holder (4) connected to the outer holder via a connecting unit (3) to hold and fix a lower end of a mast (100). The outer holder has an inner chamber (6) for receiving the inner holder so that the inner holder can be adjusted relative to the position of the outer holder. An independent claim is also included for a mast made from a fiber-plastic composite material with the above fixing device.
