PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load distribution system used for an integration of public work, allowing setting of minute load distribution to prevent performance deterioration by concentration of a load upon a specific server, and allowing a proxy server to substitute for a failed server even if failure occurs in the server. SOLUTION: This load distribution system comprises a plurality of client servers, a plurality of WEB servers, a plurality of database servers, and a plurality of application servers and has a table written with a pattern of the load distribution of the server, and the load is distributed according to the table. The load distribution system has a means monitoring the failure of the WEB server, and has a table written with whether the server when the failure occurs becomes the proxy server or not. Thereby, the load of the server is easily distributed, and the high-reliability system allowing operation even if the failure occurs in the server can be materialized. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
