A front end rolling type probe assembly is provided to suppress damage of a pad due to scrubbing by controlling finely the scrubbing in an end portion of a probe. A probe assembly includes an elastic unit(31), an end contact member(5), and a stopper(2). The elastic unit is converted along a vertical direction. The end contact member having a contact unit with a circular end portion is fixed at an end portion of the elastic unit using an arm member and moved or rotated by contacting the contact unit to an electrode pad. The stopper limits movement of the end contact member to limit merely rotation of the end contact member without hindering vertical movement of the end contact member when the rotation of the end contact member exceeds a range.
