IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, BAR CODE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE: An image processing device, a bar code processing device, and an image processing method are provided to quickly detect bar code. CONSTITUTION: A visible ray scanner(1) reads an image by the visible ray from a reading target. A scanner for a fluorescent bar code(2) reads an image by the invisible ray from the reading target. A background shape recognizing unit(4) detects the background image from a first reading images read by the visible ray scanner. A registration unit registers the feature information which shows the feature of the background image detected by the background shape recognizing unit. A fluorescent bar code recognizing unit detects the image which shows the code information based on the feature information from the second reading images read by the scanner for the fluorescence bar code.
