<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a flame-retardant crosslinkable resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin as a main component, free from a halide, securing heat resistance and abrasion resistance, capable of maintaining a crosslinking degree after crosslinking even when an inorganic flame-retardant is compounded therewith, and having excellent processability and productivity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the flame-retardant crosslinkable resin composition includes a surface-treating step of attaching a polyfunctional monomer onto the surface of an inorganic flame-retardant, and a step of mixing the obtained surface-treated product with the thermoplastic resin.
