METHOD AND DEVICE FOR UNPACKING A COMPONENT

A method is disclosed for unpacking a component (16), produced by means of a generative manufacturing method, from a particulate matter filler (18). In the method, an auxiliary frame (20), which has a vertical peripheral wall structure (22) open towards the bottom, is arranged over a vertical peripheral wall structure (12) of a construction box (10). Further, a construction platform (14) of the construction box (10) is driven upward such that the particulate matter filler (18) containing the component (16) is transferred from the construction box (10) to the auxiliary frame (20). Further, the auxiliary frame (20), with the received particulate matter filler (18) containing the component (16), and the construction box (10) are moved apart from each other, and the component (16) is unpacked at least partially out of the particulate matter filler (18) and removed from the auxiliary frame (20).
