According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a steel sheet having an excellent DWTT shear area for an austenitic line pipe may comprise: 14-22 wt% of manganese (Mn); 0.5-0.8 wt% of carbon (C); 0.5-2 wt% of copper (Cu); 0.001-0.03 wt% of phosphorus (P); 0.001-0.02 wt% of sulfur (S); 0.001-0.03 wt% of nitrogen (N); and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. The steel sheet has composition as stated above, thereby securing excellent yield strength and properties of a DWTT shear area.
