According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for manufacturing a rolling roll for continuous casting, which comprises the following steps of: forming a buffer layer on a surface of a rolling roll composed of carbon steel by using a welding material comprising 0.04-0.4 wt% of C, 0.2-1.2 wt% of Si, 1.5-2.3 wt% of Mn, an amount equal to or less than 0.025 wt% of P, an amount equal to or less than 0.025 wt% of S, 13-20 wt% of Cr, and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities; forming an overlay layer on the buffer layer by using a welding material; and cutting at least a portion of the overlay layer. |
