<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new chair or the like equipped with a new structure for properly attaching an option member to the back. <P>SOLUTION: This chair is provided with a stretching material attaching section 57 on a back frame 5x which constitutes the back 5. In the chair, an option attaching section 58 is formed at least at a part of the same circumferential frame as the back frame 5x on which the stretching material attaching section 57 is provided, and a stretching material 5y is stretched.
