The present invention relates to a device for drying and removing moisture in a container such as a gas storage container or a heat exchanger and a method for drying the container by using the device. More specifically, the method includes: a vaporization step (S21-S22) of heating liquid nitrogen stored in a liquid nitrogen storage tank (10) to vaporize the liquid nitrogen to nitrogen gas; a nitrogen gas heating step (S30) of heating the vaporized nitrogen gas up to 80-250ºC by using a heater; a first condensation step (S41) of closing a first outlet (134) and a second injection opening (132) on a side end of the container (100), filling the container (100) with the heated high temperature nitrogen gas by connecting a first gas supply pipe (50a) to a first injection opening (122) on the other side end, and forcefully lowering the dew point in the container (100) to be equal to or less than a target dew point, thereby condensing the residual moisture in the container; a nitrogen gas discharging step (S42) of discharging the filled nitrogen gas with condensed water in the container (100) through the first outlet (134); a step (S43) of measuring the dew point of the gas discharged through the first outlet (134) with a dew point meter (DP1) to compare the measured dew point with a set target dew point; and a step of completing a drying operation after drying the moisture in the container down to a target value by adjusting the measured dew point to reach the target dew point. |
