PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method for diagnosing a cooling water piping properly for keeping and running a cooling water piping in a normal state where there is little occurrence of an internal pressure rise, so that it may be helpful for a maintenance inspection.SOLUTION: In the case where nitrogen oxide is not detected but carbon monoxide is detected by analyzing a residual gas component in a cooling water piping, in which cooling water containing a glycol coolant flows, it is diagnosed that the internal pressure has risen in the cooling water piping due to abnormal heating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
