PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device of a chain-saw capable of preventing unintended operation of the chain-saw of a user, and capable of also restraining an increase in a burden of the user.SOLUTION: A brake device 20 of a chain-saw comprises a brake belt 21 wound on an outer peripheral surface of a clutch drum 12, a link mechanism 22 for changing to a belt tension state of pulling an end part of the brake belt 21 and a belt relaxation state of loosening tension of the end part of the brake belt 21 and a first rotary lever 241 displaced to a second position from a first position by operating a lock-off lever 9. The first rotary lever 241 checks a change to the belt relaxation state from the belt tension state of the link mechanism 22 when existing in the first position, and changes the link mechanism 22 to the belt tension state when returning to the first position from the second position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
