PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeding head formation body capable of ensuring the heat insulation of a feeding head even if a feeding head sleeve is formed from casting sand, and preventing a residue of the feeding head sleeve from remaining in the feeding head and degradation of a quality of a molten metal, and a casting manufacturing method using the feeding head formation body.SOLUTION: Provided are a feeding head formation body including a feeding head sleeve formed from casting sand and forming a feeding head, the feeding head sleeve being installed so that a heat insulating layer formed from an air layer is formed in one of a neck part and a body part of the feeding head or in at least a part of an outside of a cavity formed by the neck part and the body part, and a thickness of the air layer being equal to or smaller than 1 mm, and a casting manufacturing method using the feeding head formation body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
