PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catoptric system capable of maintaining a small scale with a small number of reflection mirrors in a Cassegrain or Gregory catoptric system and capable of correcting astigmatism and coma aberration, and an astronomical observation device using the catoptric system.SOLUTION: The catoptric system includes a telescope part 101 including a main mirror M1 and a sub mirror M2, and a collimator part 102 including two reflection mirrors each disposed as inclined with respect to the optical axis of the telescope part. The collimator part is composed of a concave mirror as a first reflection mirror and a concave mirror as a second reflection mirror, arranged in an order where light rays pass over the reflection mirrors. A luminous flux exiting from the second reflection mirror intersects a luminous flux exiting from the telescope part and entering the first reflection mirror.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
