Disclosed are a touch panel and driving method thereof. A driver chip (122) is provided in a chip area (120) of a non-display area (12). The driver chip (122) comprises a plurality of pins (123). At least part (126) of the plurality of pins (123) output, in a time-division manner, first drive signals (C1) for controlling pixel electrodes (110) and second drive signals (C2) for controlling touch sensors (111). A plurality of wirings (124) corresponding to the pins are provided in a fan-shaped area (121). The wirings (124) are used to transfer the first drive signals (C1) and the second drive signals (C2). In this way, the bonding process is easier and the coupling capacitance between the wirings (124) is reduced, thereby improving display quality and touch sensitivity of the touch panel (10).
