<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor configured to enable confirmation whether an appropriate user has used the image processor in an appropriate manner at a later time. <P>SOLUTION: The operation of a data processing unit 110 is limited in accordance with authentication of a user, and information showing that the user is authenticated and the data processing unit 110 operates is recorded.
