PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood type golf club head having a face part with surface roughness suitable for specifications of the golf club head.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a wood type golf club head including a face part, a crown part, and a sole part includes a setting step of setting surface roughness of the face part, and a step of forming the face part based on the surface roughness set in the setting step. In the setting step, the larger the moment of inertia of the golf club head becomes, the larger the surface roughness of the face part outside an impact area is set. The smaller the moment of inertia becomes, the smaller the surface roughness of the face part outside the impact area is set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
