PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device of a slide rail which can be manufactured inexpensively with a simple configuration by utilizing characteristics of a basic structure of the slide rail.SOLUTION: A slide rail comprises an outer member, a ball retainer, a plurality of balls, and an inner member. A brake projection projecting in a substrate direction of the ball retainer by a prescribed dimension is formed on an end part substrate on at least one side of the outer member in a slide direction of the inner member. A synthetic resin brake push-up member for applying prescribed elasticity to the ball retainer is detachably provided in a slide side end part of the substrate of the ball retainer. When a slide side end part of the brake push-up member comes into contact with the brake projection to push up the slide side end part of the ball retainer, a ball on the slide side end part is pressed against a ball slide surface of the outer member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
