PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for an endoscope which can acquire stereoscopic images without upsizing a device and can acquire clear stereoscopic images.SOLUTION: An adapter for an endoscope according to the present technique can engage with a monocular hard mirror, and comprises a luminous flux separation part and a diaphragm mechanism. The luminous flux separation part separates a subject luminous flux emitted from the hard mirror, into a first luminous flux and a second luminous flux. The diaphragm mechanism comprises: a first diaphragm part arranged on an optical path of the first luminous flux; and a second diaphragm part arranged on an optical path of the second luminous flux. The diaphragm mechanism is configured so as to be able to adjust apertures of the first and second diaphragm parts while keeping a parallax between the first luminous flux and the second luminous flux.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
