PURPOSE:To reduce the size and the weight by employing a rare earth magnet having C-type segment as the rotor magnet. CONSTITUTION:A bearing 1 is fixed to an axle 10 and a tinder 2 is made of FRP. A hub 3 is mechanically engaged with a wheel 8. The wheel 8 is made of composite material of carbon fiber and epoxy resin. Furthermore, an iron yoke 7 is fixed through a fixing frame 6 to the wheel 8. A rotor magnet 5 composed of 2-17 series resin binding rare earth is secured to the yoke 7. By such arrangement, demagnetization through heating is suppressed resulting in the improvement of reliability. |
