To spray coat substrates which have been precoated with a special adhesive, metal pigment in powder form is mixed with air and sprayed onto the substrate via an electrically driven pump. The spraying and suction back of the excess powder is carried out simultaneously or separately by suction/pressure pump and vacuum pump which are connected together by an electrical connection. The flow of powder is controlled by motor speed of the pump and valves. The storage container for the powdered pigment consists of a pressure chamber, fitter and storage chamber. The hand control for regulating the process parameters is connected to the control unit by tubing and electric leads. The polishing head for processing the sprayed coating is driven by electromotor, electromagnet or pressurised air. The polishing heads are elastically connected to a drive shaft. USE/ADVANTAGE - Coating wood, metal, stone and plastic substrates with au or Ag pigment. The time required for spraying is reduced, the coating is uniform, no material is wasted and appts is easy to handle.
