A system for providing a moving picture lecture by using a mobile terminal is provided to enable a user to perform two-way communication with a moving picture provider in real-time without an interactive mobile terminal by authenticating the user with a SIM(Subscriber Identity Module) card embedded in the mobile terminal and transmitting data through a keypad of the mobile terminal. A mobile terminal(100) is equipped with a SIM card(SIM) storing authentication information of a user, performs authentication by transmitting the authentication information to a media server(200) through a relay(R), and transmits response information to information requested from the media server to the relay by using a keypad. The media server authenticates the user by comparing the authentication information received from the mobile terminal with the authentication information stored in an authentication database(210), and transmits a moving picture lecture to the mobile terminal when the received authentication information is identical with the stored authentication information. The authentication information includes a user ID and password issued from the media server. |
