A power system monitoring apparatus is provided to report the state information of subordinate relays immediately if a superior monitoring board requests the state information of subordinate relays by updating the state information of subordinate relays for each subordinate relay in advance through a communication repeater. A power system monitoring apparatus is composed of plural relays outputting a data message about state information of a power system; a monitoring board monitoring the power system by transmitting a message for requesting transmission of the data toward the relays and receiving the response data message from the relays; and a communication repeater(2) connected to plural relays and the monitoring board to relay communications among the monitoring board and the relays. The communication repeater comprises a communication repeater unit(2-5) coupled to plural relays and the monitoring board to relay communications among the monitoring board and the relays; a relay recognition information memorizing unit(2-2) connected to the communication repeater unit to store recognition information of the connected relays; a relay data memorizing unit(2-3) connected to the communication repeater unit to receive the data message from the relays and store the state information of each relay in advance; a program memorizing unit(2-4) storing a serial processing program for communication relay and storing and processing of data; and a CPU(Central Processing Unit) controlling communication relay, storing of the recognition information and state information for each relay, and transmission of the present state information of each relay stored in the relay data memorizing unit in advance if the monitoring board requests information, according to the program of the program memorizing unit. |
