摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure for rotor, which provides high cooling effects, and also to provide a method of manufacturing the rotor. <P>SOLUTION: The cooling structure of a rotor has: a plurality of electromagnetic steel plates 2 laminated in the axial direction; a permanent magnet embedded in the electromagnetic steel plate 2; an end plates 4 provided at both the axial edges of the electromagnetic plate 2; and a cooling passage 5 that is formed such that the cooling passage reaches the outer peripheral surface of the end plate 4, from the inside directed in the radial direction in the end plate 4, and that the air for cooling the permanent magnet, flows toward the outer peripheral surface of the end plate 4 accompanying the rotation of the rotor 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
